DP SSDP SS 2DP SS 3DP SS 4Good Morning Mr. Hebert,

I would like to thank Mr. Robert Porcja for coming on Saturday March 30th, 2019 for the ODASIS Saturday Scholars High School Program. The students truly enjoyed the experimental presentations that he hosted.

From the beginning with the baking soda and vinegar experiment, Mr. Porcja had the students hooked as he explained all of the components of each experiment. The students raved about the hydrogen balloon vs. helium balloon explosion, dry ice experimentation and the light bulb experiment with different chemicals all week. The excitement was caught from beginning to end.

Mr. Porcja and the explanations helped the students learn more and incorporate things in their daily lives. I truly believe that his experiments and explanations helped excite the interests of several of our students to pursue chemistry in college. The student assistants who had your class at Rutgers also were excited and expressed to the students that they should take your class when they come to Rutgers. On behalf of the ODASIS Department, I thank Mr. Porcja again for his presentation. I have attached pictures from the weekend.

Best Regards,
