Application Materials and Submission
All applicants can submit the required materials through their Rutgers Application Portal.
Required materials include: Transcripts, Statements of Purpose, Resume/CV, & Test Scores
You can also mail application materials to the New Brunswick Graduate Admissions Office at the address below. Note that the Rutgers Application Portal is the most efficient method for submitting your documents. Mailing documents may take up to three weeks to be applied to your application.

Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for admission reviews. Students who are admitted and accept the offer of admission must provide Graduate Admissions with final, official transcripts. Admission may be rescinded if official transcripts are not received prior to the start of your first semester.
Application Fee Information
The application fee is managed by the New Brunswick Graduate Admissions Office, not CCB. CCB does not provide a fee waiver. Applications are automatically reviewed by Graduate Admissions for eligibility.
- Fee waivers are granted to active U.S. Military and Military Veterans who plan to apply for educational benefits under the GI Bill, Rutgers Alumni, and participants in certain scholars programs such as McNair.
FreeApp Program
The FreeApp Program provides fee waivers for PhD program applicants at Rutgers who meet these criteria. FreeApp is a collaborative program for students traditionally underrepresented in graduate education, including racial and ethnic minorities, women in STEM, first-generation college students, and individuals who have faced societal, economic, or academic adversity or disadvantages.
